Some kind of bitumen with different Grades that marketed by Indian Oil: VG–10 BITUMEN
VG–10 bitumen is mostly used in spraying applications including paving and some kind of surface-dressing.This VG-10 bitumen is used in very cold climate instead of old 80/100 Penetration grade bitumen. VG is the shortened of viscosity grade and In this third revision grading of Bitumen is changed from penetration grade to viscosity grade. The quality of this bitumens is improved than a penetration bitumen.
This so-called grade of refinery bitumen is said to be derived from the aeration of vacuum distillation tower batons and are divided according to their viscosity.
uses
It is also used to manufacture Bitumen Emulsion and Modified Bitumen products.
