Galbanum gum oleoresin is a compound, which is secreted from galbanum twigs after insect sting or excision. Tear like, mass gum are different kinds of galbanum. Tear like resin is whitish yellow, yellowish green or red. Mass like resin is made from irregular tear part. It is formed in an unformed and paste parts. The color of this type is different, but it can be green, green- brown to greenish yellow or dark. Mass like resin is containing impurities such as leaves, twigs and sands.
