DropPrev^®CHA acts as an organic acid that attacks molds (A.Niger) only when it is dispersed in an undissociated state in the organism. CHA is the only organic acid that remains unionized from acidic to neutral. And it has strong inhibitory effects on the growth of A. Niger. The product has been tested by Intertek, the UK authoritative company, and the results show that the minimum inhibitory concentration of the sample to A. Niger is 780ppm.As a drug, CHA has been applied to animals and humans for a long time. Its toxicology has been studied extensively and deeply, thus it has high safety. So it can be used in cosmeties instead oftraditional preservatives. It remains highly bacteriostatic in neutral pH environments, where most other preservative alternatives are less effective.
