About Shahid Bahonar Copper Industries Co. (CSP)

Shahid Bahonar Copper Industries Co. (CSP) is one of the largest manufacturers of semi-finished copper and copper alloy products in the region, playing a key role in the metal industry supply chain of Iran and the Middle East. Strategically located near the largest and richest copper mine in the Middle East, CSP began its operations in the second half of 1992 and has since grown into an industrial powerhouse.

A Legacy Rooted in Ancient Metallurgy

Iran has long been recognized as the cradle of metallurgy. Archeological evidence from ancient furnaces in sites like the Silk Hills of Kashan and Tal-E-Eblis in Kerman proves that copper smelting and metal crafting were well-developed in Iran as early as the 4th and 5th millennia BC. These deep-rooted traditions have paved the way for today’s advanced copper industry in the country.
