Description
Carbon fiber square tubes are manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques, including pultrusion as well as compression molding techniques to ensure high quality and durability. In the pultrusion process of fabrication of carbon fiber tubing, the continuous pulling of carbon fiber composites is mixed with resin matrix through heated forming dies to create a continuous length of tube, which provides tubes with unidirectional properties.
Compression molding, on the other hand, involves multiple wraps of carbon fiber prepregs in various weave types. The result is a densely reinforced carbon composite with excellent strength and stability. Our carbon fiber square tubes are available in multiple surface textures, including twill weave and plain weave, and come in a gloss or matte finish. Due to the square shape, it has a better area moment of inertia, which gives higher bending strength. When compared to circular tubes makes it perfect for lightweight stiff applications.
