Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE ROTOMOLDING)
Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE ROTOMOLDING) is one of the types of polyethylene whose condensation range is 0.926–0.940 g/cm3.
This type of polyethylene has a relatively good moisture resistance. Its sensitivity is relatively less than HDPE. It also has better resistance to cracks caused by shocks.
MDPE or polyethylene with the medium grade is commonly used in the manufacture of plastic pipes and fittings.
MDPE is commonly used in gas pipes, bags, small films, containers, and so on.
The other name is “black alkathene”.
Typical Application:
Due to its high resistance to many solvents, its application is wide-ranging:
- Large containers
- Septic tanks
