High-Performance Check Valves and Manual Gate Valves by Nexa Energy
Check Valves
Nexa Energy check valves feature a robust metal-to-metal seal designed for high-pressure and high-temperature environments where traditional elastomer seals are unsuitable. These valves are available with standard pressure ratings ranging from 3000 psi up to 15000 psi, and sizes from 1-13/16″ to 4-1/16″.
Commonly used in critical oil and gas applications such as choke manifolds, Christmas tree injection lines, and kill lines, Nexa Energy check valves are engineered to handle a variety of fluids including oil, gas, water, and drilling fluids. These valves comply with API 6A standards and are available across all temperature ratings and product specification levels (PSL), ensuring optimal performance in demanding conditions.
Manual Gate Valves
Nexa Energy’s API 6A manual gate valves are offered in sizes from 1 13/16″ to 7 1/16″ and pressure ratings between 2000 psi and 15000 psi. Their design incorporates advanced sealing and durability features to meet the rigorous demands of the oil and gas industry.
- Spring-loaded, pressure-energized, non-elastomeric lip-seal between the seat and body prevents particle intrusion and body erosion.
- Minimal parts in the gate and seat assembly, featuring a one-piece seat and gate for reliable sealing and easy field maintenance.
- Metal-to-metal sealing between gate and seat for maximum durability.
- Special spring-loaded, pressure-energized, non-elastomeric stem packing design for leak prevention.
- Stem shoulder design allows back seating against the bonnet, enabling stem packing replacement while the valve remains under pressure.
- Non-rising stem supported by two needle roller thrust bearings to prevent cavity pressure increases or lubricant displacement.
- Bottom retainer plate serves as a gate guide during operation.
- For severe service, weld-clad or corrosion-resistant alloy linings protect the valve’s internal components.
Applications
These valves are ideally suited for high-demand oil and gas operations, including:
- Choke manifold systems
- Christmas tree injection and kill lines
- High-pressure fluid control
- Drilling and production facilities
- Corrosive and extreme temperature environments
