Pushal (Mancha) Saffron
In Iran, saffron produced in many ways is divided into several forms. One of the oldest terms used in this field is (red part and white or yellow part of saffron), which is also called saffron in Persian and is known abroad as Bunch or Red & White saffron. In fact, the red part in this type of saffron should be between 75-70% and the root or cornea is about 25-30%. This kind of saffron is called *pushal saffron*. The completely red with yellow flowers, which is the percentage of very low thickness. Very thin as a few millimeters.
In this type, stigma is longer than style and connected to it. Style is just has a few millimeters thick. It is known as Poushal in Iran. Whenever style of saffron separated from flower, stigma will have 1-3mm cream, this kind of saffron called Pushali.
This type of saffron includes tissue. Together with 2-3 mm style.
