Aloe Vera is used in cosmetics and is also used as juice, syrup, and compote, in addition to having highly medicinal properties. it is also effective in treating some diseases, such as back pain.

What is Aloe Vera?

Belongs to the family of complementary herbs in the genus “Aloe”. It is believed that this plant has been used in Sudan for more than 6,000 years. The benefits and qualities of this plant have been endorsed by many civilizations, including Egyptians, Spaniards, Iranians, Greeks, Italians, Africans, Japanese, And the Indians are known. It originates in hot and humid weather.
Aloe vera plant is mostly herbaceous without root or short roots. Its height reaches 60-100 cm, with its long leaves. The leaves of this plant are thick and meaty and its color is green. Some species of this plant have white parts on the surface of the stem. The margin of the leaves is dentate, and due to the abundance of water in its layers, it continues to live easily the summer. This plant grows up both inside and outdoors.

Aloe Vera has many amazing uses and its benefits are usually achieved by breaking a stem to extract a gel material, then apply it locally to the skin and hair.
As you know, Aloe Vera is a tasty and fresh herb that you can take advantage of by cutting it out and extract its gel. It can be applied directly to the skin and hair.  (of course, the extracted gel should be diluted and used purely, and in case of any skin allergy, it should be washed immediately). It is used in the food industry, medicine, etc.

Planting Aloe Vera

After planting Aloe Vera plants, the first harvest takes after one year, and then every 6 months, one can harvest the product of the plant, which is the same as the leaves containing the gel.

Aloe vera cultivation does not require the use of fertilizers and chemical pesticides, this plant is absolutely organic.

Aloe Vera benefits

It contains about 99 to 99.5 percent water, and its pH is about 4.5.

The usages of this plant are in various forms, such as powder, gel, cream, lotion, capsule, extract and drink.

Aloe Vera is effective in treating many wounds, injuries, and burns – eczema – blistering.

Other problems like bee whipping and insect bites – cutting – bruising – sunburn and acne due to its antimicrobial properties. Therefore, the use of this plant is recommended not only in topical creams but also in controlling many diseases and skin disorders.
